A note from our a director

I began Cromwell Gallery in 2015. I have been selling art for 14 years, primarily to Galleries in Australia and overseas, and through art fairs. I decided to open a contemporary art gallery so I could sell a more diverse range of art and to also have an outlet to sell more experimental artworks by the artists I represent. The website has been designed specifically to assist people to buy art confidently even when they cannot access the art in person.
I began in the art industry by meeting a famous artist, William King Jungala, whom I shared many similar philosophies with. During a break from University studies I chose to undertake an apprenticeship of sorts which involved living in his large art studio building. I lived and breathed everything art until I decided to share it with the world. Through my success of elevating an already successful artist’s career I was able to work with many more artists including many whom I identified while still finishing their studies at institutions such as Monash university and The National Art School.
I have worked with over 40 galleries over the past 14 years to facilitate the sale of thousands of artworks and present over 50 exhibitions. This involves the logistics of assisting artists with their creative environment, cataloging the artworks, artistic processes and story’s, marketing and curating the shows.
I have taken part in dozens of projects involving the commissioning of artworks to be placed in public buildings and corporate offices. Furthermore, I have driven many projects where the art and artist philosophy has been integrated into the public profile of a corporate or government department.
My aim is to assist artists to sell their artwork and create a career that fits their lifestyle. This means there are artist that I work exclusively with and others I only buy paintings occasionally from.
